| Bio: | Grew up in south Manchester, have been happy, healthy and even occasionally hearty in Scotland for the last 8 years. Very tall and not as skinny as I used to be, but almost. I'm a Guardian reading liberal by birth and inclination. I read a lot, mainly papers and New Scientist day-to-day, but lots of books too - mainly sci-fi and fantasy books. Regular clubber, but not weekly, mainly trance and funky techno. I run the computers for a charity 4 days per week (for real money, though not that much of it), which is great but not as good as when I did it 3 days per week.
I'm also a Man U fan and avid follower of football, although I'm glad to report I don't talk about it with (or should that be to) all those people who have absolutely no interest whatsoever, as I used to be in that camp myself until just over 5 years ago when I had a rather dramatic Damascene conversion with the aid of Championship Manager.
